Rural BC Project

The Rural BC Project, with the Omineca Beetle Action Coalition as secretariat, was designed to stimulate discussion and understanding of the challenges facing rural BC and what actions need to be taken to help rural BC communities succeed.  The goal is to recommend a long-term strategy for rural BC to be self-determining and have the tools and investment to succeed socially and economically.  Project timeline is two years.

Funding Partners:  Omineca Beetle Action Coalition, Southern Interior Beetle Action Coalition, CCBAC, and the Real Estate Foundation of BC

CCBAC contribution: $20,000 • Project total: $80,000
