Executive Summary

The Cariboo-Chilcotin Beetle Action Coalition was formed to enable "Communities Working Together for a Sustainable Future".

The objective of this strategy is to map out a course of action, based on solid research, that will help Cariboo-Chilcotin communities retain and attract more retirees, business people (“footloose entrepreneurs”), professionals, and skilled workers compared to the present.

The approach described in this strategy can be summarized as a program to “retain and attract residents,”and may be one of the most powerful economic development measures within the control of communities.
