2014 - Barkerville is developing an Exhibit to travel to China as the result of a cultural exchange trip by Barkerville in 2009. The goals of this Exhibit are to build upon our significant regional history to enhance awareness of Barkerville and the Cariboo in China, help develop the Chinese tourism market and strengthen academic and museum collaborations. This will provide new opportunities to learn about the deep Chinese history and connection of the Cariboo Region to China.
