Bridge Project

Linking Resources for Community Forests is intended to assist community forests and woodlots to develop and access appropriate tools, information and relationships that will increase movement of fiber to the value added sector and to stimulate new business opportunities. To date, ten workshops have been held around the province to inform stakeholders about the project and to initiate networking and potential partnerships. A project coordinator has been hired and web design is well underway. Outreach activities will continue this fall. This includes a public launch of the new website that took place on October 12, 2011 at the Tourism Centre, Williams Lake. The project is on schedule and progressing per deliverables.
